The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA)

On July 14, 2015, China, France, Germany, Russia, the United Kingdom, and the United States, as well as the European Union (EU), and Iran reached a Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) that addressed the future of Iran’s nuclear program. The plan was implemented on January 16, 2016 after participants took several necessary steps.
