Dr. Sofey Saidi is an accomplished scholar-practitioner in international relations, global governance, and conflict resolution. She earned her Ph.D. in International Relations in Geneva, Switzerland, where she also served as a member of the Globecraft Institute at the Geneva School of Diplomacy and International Relations. Her multidisciplinary academic foundation includes advanced degrees from George Mason University’s Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution and Duke University’s Graduate Program, reflecting a lifelong commitment to understanding complex global systems through both theoretical and applied lenses. Fluent in Farsi and Spanish, Dr. Saidi brings a uniquely global perspective to her research and teaching. Her expertise spans Middle Eastern and Latin American affairs, ethnic and cultural conflict, and comparative global governance. She has taught Global Politics, Ethnic and Cultural Conflict, and International Relations.
