Dr. Sofey Saidi is an accomplished scholar-practitioner in international relations, global governance, and conflict resolution. She earned her Ph.D. in International Relations in Geneva, Switzerland, where she also served as a member of the Globecraft Institute at the Geneva School of Diplomacy and International Relations. Her multidisciplinary academic foundation includes advanced degrees from George Mason University’s Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution and Duke University’s Graduate Program, reflecting a lifelong commitment to understanding complex global systems through both theoretical and applied lenses. Fluent in Farsi and Spanish, Dr. Saidi brings a uniquely global perspective to her research and teaching. Her expertise spans Middle Eastern and Latin American affairs, ethnic and cultural conflict, and comparative global governance. She has taught Global Politics, Ethnic and Cultural Conflict, and International Relations. Dr. Saidi’s work reflects a deep commitment to fostering cross-cultural understanding, empowering women in global leadership, and advancing dialogue across regions and disciplines. She has been a featured commentator, offering analysis on international affairs, diplomacy, and women’s leadership. Her public engagement reflects her dedication to fostering cross-cultural dialogue, advancing inclusive leadership. Dr. Saidi is a member of the National Council of Resistance of Iran.
